2003 OSTA Annual Conference

You are invited to visit Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory (SNCO) on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, October 9th, 10th and 11th , 10:00 am to 4:00 pm to explore the facilities and grounds. This private, not-for-profit scientific and educational organization is located in Sunriver , Oregon about 15 miles south of Bend .  During the evening of October 9th SNCO will host an open house for science teachers that begins at 7:00 pm .   

There will be a program starting at 8:00pm on current Space Exploration presented by the Observatory Manager who also represents NASA as a participant in their Ambassador to the Solar System program.  Following the presentation, enjoy an evening of wonder and exploration under starry Central Oregon skies observing the moon, planets, stars, nebulae and galaxies through several of the

fine telescopes located at the Observatory and Dr. Robert M. Glass Starport.
