Climate Fresk (PRE-CONFERENCE EVENT)

Climate Fresk: Seeing the big picture: Building a climate change and solutions mural + debriefing its value for students.

This activity-based session will help participants construct a “big-picture” understanding of climate change, human impacts, and solutions, as well as how these are all connected. The card-based challenge helps science educators recognize what climate-related ideas are most important to teach, and which are most relevant to earth science, chemistry, biology, and physics. We will model how teachers can use this activity with students or with adults. Everyone will have access to the materials we use.
